Louisville Metro High School Hockey Team
The team will play in the Kentucky High School Hockey League (KHSHL) and is for 9th-12th graders located in the Louisville Metro area who do not attend St. X and Trinity High Schools. The league holds an end-of-season tournament and the champion has the opportunity to compete in the USA Hockey Youth National High School Division II tournament.
Any player in 9th - 12th grade
High school hockey season runs from mid-August to mid-March
Practices are held at Iceland Sports Complex. League games will be played in KY and WV.
Practices are held twice a week.
Depending on the number of teams in the league there will be 12-20 games a season.
Louisville Metro team wears the Ice Cardinals travel jerseys. Players who do not play on a travel team will be able to purchase the jersey set separately.
There are separate season fees for the Louisville Metro team. These fees vary from year to year depending on the number of players.
